The Dubai Opera House is the main destination for performing arts in Dubai. Designed by Janus Rostock of Atkins, it has 1,901 seats and can be converted into various event spaces, such as a traditional theatre, concert hall, banquet hall, or exhibition space.
The Dubai Opera is located in the heart of the Opera Plot, together with eight high-end mixed-use luxury residential and hospitality towers, all under construction at the time of registration.
The buildings in the opera plots are highly integrated at the ground and basement levels sharing vehicular and pedestrian access, parking facilities, and other facilities.
This integration called for a volumetric subdivision of this iconic building that obtain a volume title deed allowing Emaar to retain ownership of the hole asset. The retails and F&Bs were then registered in Ejari to facilitate rentals of the spaces.
